The Zambia Association of Manufacturers will be holding its 33rd Annual General Meeting on 20th June 2019 at Neelkanth Sarovar Premiere Hotel, Lusaka under the theme: “Value Addition for Economic Recovery”.
The AGM is expected to be graced by the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry and will be attended by senior government officials from different ministries and departments. As such, the AGM presents an opportunity for the membership to directly table the issues that are adversely affecting the growth of their businesses and hampering the development of the manufacturing sector. More specifically we will take the opportunity to highlight the manufacturing sectors concerns regarding the Sales Tax Bill scheduled for implementation from 1st July 2019.
