What is ZAM

ZAMBIA ASSOCIATION OF MANUFACTURERS (ZAM), a registered organisation in the Republic of Zambia, is a business association which represents the interests of the entire manufacturing sector and other related economic and/or production sectors in Zambia.

VISION STATEMENT
ZAM envisions: “A thriving sustainable manufacturing sector”.

MISSION STATEMENT
“Accelerate manufacturing by facilitating enabling sector policies and connecting producers to value adding opportunities, for a competitive and sustainable manufacturing sector in Zambia.”

GOAL STATEMENT
“To attain 20% contribution to gross domestic product (GDP) by 2030.”

ZAM Membership

ZAM’s membership comprises a broad range of manufacturers from over 18 manufacturing sub-sectors. The leadership of the organization is anchored in the ZAM Board which comprises of; The President, Vice-President (Northern and Southern Region), four Advisory Board Members, 3 Trustees and the Management Team which is the ZAM Secretariat.

The structure of membership is as progressive as the manufacturing sector with representation drawn from;

► Small Scale Manufacturers (SMEs),
► Medium Scale Manufacturers,
► Large Scale Manufacturers
