The Zambia Association of Manufacturers will be hosting the 8th Annual Manufacturers Week from 10th – 15th November 2019 under the theme; “Think Local First, Buy Zambian”.
The week aims to showcase and recognize the performance of the Manufacturing sector towards Zambia’s development agenda. Aligned to the National Quality Infrastructure Policy and the Proudly Zambian Campaign, this year’s theme aims to reaffirm and support Government’s commitment towards the growth of local enterprises, by celebrating domestic supply capabilities in an effort to stimulate consumption.
The week is packed with a number of exciting activities drawing the participation of over 500 participants including but not limited to; policy makers, renowned international speakers, captains of industry, development partners and the general public for objective dialogue on practical measures to move the Zambian manufacturing sector forward within a regional context. The planned activities will amongst other things create opportunities for regional business linkages, and generate recommendations for policy reforms to spur the regional growth of the manufacturing sector.
