On 27th July 2020, the Zambian Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) took part in a public-private dialogue meeting called by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI) to discuss various issues affecting industry. It is worth-noting that industry has been facing a number of challenges through out the year. Notable in the discussion were the effects of Covid-19 which put at risk of closing down due to disruptions in the supply chain. Therefore, Government will look to continue engaging with the private sector to health lead to economy recovery.
