The Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) will be hosting a Webinar on Thursday, 4th February 2021 dubbed “SI 110 of 2020 – A Game Changer for Manufacturing”. The Statutory Instrument allows for suspension of customs duty on imported manufacturing inputs which cannot be sourced locally. ZAM recognizes the importance of SI 110 of 2020 but is also aware that inputs have to meet the eligibility criteria set out in the SI.

This webinar will therefore bring together policy makers from Government, government institutions and manufacturers as they discuss what Statutory Instrument No 110 of 2020 tails for the manufacturing sector. The webinar will have presentations from experts in the Ministry of Finance and the Zambia Revenue Authority who will explain to manufacturers how SI 110 of 2020 can be used to support the growth of the manufacturing sector in Zambia.
