ZAM is committed to adding value to Zambian youth and enhancing their opportunities for accessing meaningful employment.
In this regard, the association has been running an internship programme at the ZAM Secretariat for the passed 7 years aimed at building the capacity of university graduates in policy advocacy and development. This initiative was introduced to provide practical experience for the university graduates in various fields including but not limited to development studies, business and administration, marketing, law and economics to mention but a few. The Internship Programme commenced in 2011 and has since built the capacity of 10 graduates in Policy Analysis, Membership Development Services, and Finance and Administration.
The Association currently has a crop of 3 interns who studied Economics, Developmental Studies and Environmental Education and have been placed in Policy, Membership and Administration departments respectively.
